Sugamenia

Sugamenia is a very basic game that tries to be a Metroidvania, but isn't quite there. It's linear, with virtually no backtracking. You can unlock a few new abilities as you go. Platforming and combat are both quite basic. The lack of a map can be annoying, and aiming at enemies is also frustrating - as are some of the abilities (notably the one that connects two mines together). There are some collectibles that don't seem to do anything, and even the purpose of your abilities isn't always clear - you normally get a hint for what to do with the controls, but this was lacking when the drone allowed you to jump on top of it - so that was a bit of trial and error. Overall it's ok for a few hours, but don't expect too much.
