At the time, Yie Ar Kung Fu was groundbreaking: lots of moves, the ability to jump above the opponent, varied opponents... It lays a lot of foundations for the "versus fighting" games. Unfortunately, by the standards of today it's not as good: you can't block, jumps are too large, and it's really hard. It's not exactly bad, but time has not been kind to it.
