Super Mario Maker 2 came out last week, and from the buzz on Twitter, it's captured the attention of many of us.
In this post, I wanted to share my first few levels, in case you missed them on Twitter. Feel free to add some of yours in the comments below.
Rainbow Jumping

Game type: Super Mario World
Theme: Sky
This is my first full level in SMM2. I found the rainbow platforms fairly early on and thought they might make a fun level. It's not too difficult to complete, but there are a few bonuses and secrets if you explore.
Skipsqueak Castle
Course ID: NV1-M6X-DGG
Game type: Super Mario 3D World
Theme: Castle
This started as an underground level, but it worked a bit better as a castle stage. It's my first 3D World level. Skipsqueaks jump when you do, so best to time your jumps carefully. The boss battle is quite difficult - good luck.
Infiltrating the base

Game type: Super Mario Bros 3
Theme: Underground
I originally created this level on the Wii U, and have ported it across with a few tweaks. The boss battle at the end is new, as without it, the last door took you to the end, which didn't feel like the best way to end the level.
Recreating the layered background was a pain, as layering two semi-solid blocks on top of each other gets annoying when the wrong layer is on top. Putting items on top of these layers gets fiddly, too.
